====== Flashbacks ======

Flashbacks are a mechanic where a player describes an action they took earlier to prepare for this situation. They are meant to reduce the need for detail planning beforehand.

Basically when any event happens, any player can say "Flashback, I did thing X at time Y" and any rolls and similar are then done.

=====Availability=====
Flashback are available as follows:
   * Each Mission has one flashback total available for the whole group and can be called by anyone.
   * Each Scenario has one flashback available for each character.
   * Each Adventure has three flashbacks available for each character.

=====Have gear=====
The easiest and most simple use of a Flashback is having gear that you would need in a situation.

Example: 
   * Player: "Flashback, I bought an extra first aid kit yesterday when we were in town" 
   * GM: "ok, deduct the money"

Notes:
  *If the gear is easily available and you could have had time to buy it, you just deduct the money for it and have the item.
  *If the gear is something you left home, but could have with you, you can say it is with you.
  *If there is difficulty in getting the gear to getting it to the current location, you will have to roll all the rolls to acquire it and transport it.
  * In all cases the item will have to be something you could have with you. So if you are naked in a cell is very different than when traveling with a van.

=====Talked to someone=====
This can range from trying to get information to trying to get them to have done something. All rolls and such are resolved as normal.

Example: 
   * player: "Flashback, I bribed the security guard that is patting me down now yesterday to pretend to not find my hidden knife"
   * GM: "roll diplomacy check"
     * Success: 
       * GM: "Ok, reduce the money" 
       * GM description: "The guard pats you down and does not react to the knife and then waves you through"
     * Fail:
       * GM description: "The guard points at you and says to the other guards: 'This is the one who tried to bribe me, grab him'"

Notes:
   * There has to have been a way for you to have time to interact with the NPC.

=====Did some other action=====
Any other action a character could have done could conceivably by done as a flashback.  This requires there to have been a time and opportunity do so and any costs and skill rolls are rolled at this point.

Some examples:
   * Looked up some information online or in a library. 
   * Repaired some item.
