Time is given in before (BE) and After the pact(AP)

This timeline focuses on home world and core, other surviving star systems had different histories.

• Approximately 11000 BE: humans invented writing on home world.
• Approximately 5500 BE: The time of the first great empires, with three great empires rising up on home world.
• Approximately 3500 BE: The first manned spaceflight on home world.
• Approximately 3350 BE: First human interstellar flight.
• Approximately 3200 BE: The colony war, where the human home world was bombed to stone age by AI controlled warships.
• Approximately 2800 BE: The forming of the Great Federation. It was apparently located spinward from the current area of the Empire.
• Approximately 2300 BE: the Great Federation has over 100 000 member worlds
• Approximately 1800 BE: the Great Federation has over 500 000 member worlds
• Approximately 1700 BE to 1600 BE: the Great Federation was destroyed in an attack from outside.
• 1845 BE: The colony on Suskillon was founded
• 1636 BE: The colony on Suskillon was destroyed
• Approximately 1000 BE: Civilization is practically nonexistent on Bayaran, with only small scattered groups of survivors and no technology.
• Approximately 700 BE: Civilization has rebuilt partly and local manufacturing is able to form metal tools without use of Federation tech.
• 305 BE: The First Conclave of the factions wrote the original charter regulating their relations.
• 202 to 196 BE: The great war of the factions: a great war between several of the factions causes a backslash and reinforcing the remains of the Mardets to a planerary army. The war was characterized by use of Gunpowder weapons with metallic cartridges.
• 46 BE: Orbital space flight is achieved.
• 6 BE: First flight to Suskillon achieved
• 0 BE/0AP: The pact was reformed to include Suskillon and several other newer factions.
• approximately 1 AP to 50 AP the spaceflight is perfected and towards the end of that time many colonists start to move to Suskillon. Several other planets and other objects in the system are explored and some technological relics are recovered.
• 55 AP: Some small alien ship attacked a small colony on Suskillon. There are no survivors or left behind bodies.
• 56 AP: “Defense of the pact act” enacted, expanding Mardets a lot over the next 12 years.
• 67 AP: first interstellar travel with Jumpdrive achieved again
• 68 AP: A larger alien attack on Suskillon, this time is determined that the attackers are insectoid in general nature and they are not leaving immediately.
• 68 AP An interstellar explorer is sent out on a five year mission to find out about the federation. BSS finder sets out with a crew of 12.
• 69 AP: The fourth battalion of Mardets manages to drive the attackers out.
• 71 AP: BSS finder returns early and badly damaged with only four of the crew members. They were apparently attacked by the same aliens that have been attacking Suskillion.
• 87 AP: Even larger groups of aliens attack.
• 88 AP: Now, the fighting on Suskillon has increased in intensity during the six months it has been going on, and most of Mardets are on Suskillon
